DYVA KRUPA CHILDREN HOME

OVERVIEW

Dyva krupa Children Home came into existence since 2008. It is shelter home for the underprivileged, orphan & semi-orphans, between the age group of 6-18 years.  A home that started with 4 beneficiaries is now a home for 30. Apart from residence, these beneficiaries are given formal English Medium education, medical, recreational, and spiritual facilities in a homely atmosphere until they become independent and are able to join the mainstream of society. This home functions under the Juvenile Justice Act (J J Act) & the beneficiaries that come to Dyva Krupa Children Home are sanctioned by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

Nearly 90 Beneficiaries of Dyva Krupa Children's Home have been re-integrated back into society. they are either married or have completed their higher studies like civil engineering, MBA,MA, Hotel Management, Etc,.. This led our beneficiaries to join the international cruise liners IT dept. and food & beverage services. Some are working as teachers in Govt.schools, Digital executives at corporate travel companies, working at  reputed corporate companies like amazon, google, Facebook, etc..

Features of Dyva Krupa Children Home:

  • It started at Secunderabad Thanda Village, Mahabubabad (Telangana) in the year 2008

  • Presently, Trust provides accommodation for 30 boys in Children Home, between the age group of 6-18 years.

  • Need for Food, clothing, education, medical assistance, etc. is being met by the organization

  • The project provides physical/moral/ psychological support to every child with utmost care and empathy.

  • Qualitative English medium Education of all children is ensured by the NGO. Moreover, special coaching in mathematics/ science and languages is provided to beneficiaries by professional teachers.

  • Beneficiaries actively participate in in-school competitions, and tournaments, and hone their skills in their respective domain.

  • Parents /Relatives meet are organized every month.

  • Even after the beneficiaries leave the organization after completion of their term, higher education and vocational skills training are supported by the organization.  

Facilities at Dyva Krupa Children Home:

Medical Check-ups:


The health condition of all inmates is monitored periodically by a Registered Medical Practitioner. Dental / Eye check-up camps are also conducted. 

Recreation:


A TV set and music system/Alexa has been provided in the common hall for entertainment along with access to the tabloids for their online classes. Children's birthdays, all festivals, etc. are celebrated.

Therapy and Counselling:


They are provided counselling through regular counsellors appointed to take care of the children’s mental health.

Ex-curricular activities:  


With the active engagement of Volunteers, the inner talent/potential of the children is explored. A special impetus is given to promote this innate potential. Yoga and evening prayers are regularly organized.

Future Expansion Plan:  


The organization is considering enhancing the present capacity to 30 children and the need to construct a garden house for them as the current place can only occupy 20 beneficiaries according to CWC.

Support Schemes :

Donation in kind- Meals:


 Any donor can pay Rs.3000/- in memory of some of their family members or for a birthday on a particular day towards Lunch / Dinner of the inmates.

Educational Adoption :


Donors can pay Rs. 15,000/- per year, or in installments, with a view to bear the educational expenditure of one child student 

Financial Adoption:


On payment of Rs. 30,000/- per year one can bear the expenditure of food/ clothing/ Medical assistance one beneficiary 

Grocery Donation :


Donors can pay Rs. 10,000/- per 2weeks, for groceries to children for a period of 2 weeks.
